The transfer window has entered its final 24 hours, with clubs across Europe rushing to complete their remaining business before the deadline.
For the top 5 leagues and some other leagues, the summer transfer window ends at 11pm BST on Tuesday, September 1, which is also 11pm in Nigeria. Clubs can still use the deal-sheet system for certain transfers after the deadline, provided the required paperwork is submitted on before deadline.
With the clock ticking, several deals have already moved forward while other clubs are trying to push through late transfers.
Latest Confirmed Deals
Ethan Nwaneri → Borussia Dortmund
According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal youngster Ethan Nwaneri is set to join Borussia Dortmund on a season-long loan after the clubs reached a verbal agreement.
Kevin Danso → Sunderland
Sunderland have reached an agreement to sign Tottenham defender Kevin Danso on loan with an obligation to buy. Fabrizio Romano reported the deal has an eventual transfer fee understood to be around £25 million.
Folarin Balogun → Everton
Everton have also agreed a deal with Monaco for striker Folarin Balogun, with the transfer reported at around £40 million.

Manchester United consider David Raum
Manchester United are considering RB Leipzig left-back David Raum as they look for additional cover in the position following a back out from Alejandro Balde’s deal. Reports suggest United like the 28-year-old but are not eager to pay a major fee for a player who would initially provide competition rather than necessarily become an automatic starter.
Barcelona push for Ruud Nijstad behind the scene
Barcelona are also being linked with FC Twente young defender Ruud Nijstad. Reports circulating from Barça-focused sources claim the player is keen on a move to Barcelona and is pushing for the opportunity, while Twente regard him as an important player and have reportedly rejected a €8 million offer.
Chelsea and Enzo Fernández
Chelsea’s Enzo Fernández has also become one of the biggest stories of deadline day, with Manchester City interested in the midfielder. Negotiations are said to be complicated by Chelsea’s valuation and the need for the Blues to find a replacement if the midfielder were to leave.
