Haaland Delivers Again as Manchester City Grind Out 1–0 Win Over Coventry

Manchester City maintained their perfect start to the Premier League season with a hard-fought 1–0 victory over newly promoted Coventry City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
Erling Haaland proved to be the difference once again, heading City into the lead in the 26th minute after Enzo Fernández played Antoine Semenyo through, with the winger delivering the cross for Haaland to finish.
City dominated possession and created several opportunities, with Haaland having another goal ruled out, but Coventry grew stronger as the game progressed and pushed for an equaliser.
Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma was forced into several important saves as Coventry threatened late on, but City held firm to secure all three points.
The victory gives Manchester City three wins from three league matches, keeping them at the top of the Premier League table with nine points.
For Haaland, the goal marks his third of the Premier League season, continuing his strong start to the campaign. (Reuters)
