The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results for underage candidates following the completion of the assessment process. JAMB stated that the release does not automatically guarantee admission, particularly for candidates who have not reached the prescribed admission age.
Candidates who want to check their 2026 UTME result can do so via JAMB’s official channels.
The SMS option allows candidates to send UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to their JAMB registration, while candidates can also access their result via the JAMB e-Facility portal.
How to Check Your 2026 JAMB Result
1. To check by SMS, Open your messaging app and type UTMERESULT, send it to 55019 or 66019 from your registered phone number.
2. Candidates that want to check online should log into the official JAMB e-Facility platform with their registered details and select the option to check their UTME result.
If your result does not appear immediately after check, candidates should avoid panicking and use only JAMB’s official platforms for further checks. JAMB has warned candidates and parents against individuals who claim they can manipulate results or guarantee admission, particularly for underage candidates.
Candidates should also remember that obtaining a UTME score does not guarantee admission. Admission still depends on meeting the requirements of the chosen institution and course, including the applicable age and other conditions set by JAMB and the institution.
