U.S.–Israeli Strikes on Iran Intensify as War Enters Sixth Day

The joint military campaign by the United States and Israel against Iran entered its sixth day on Thursday, with residents in Tehran reporting some of the most intense bombardments since the conflict began. 

Witnesses said explosions echoed across northern parts of the Iranian capital as fresh waves of airstrikes targeted government and military facilities. 

“Today is worse than yesterday. They are striking northern Tehran. We have nowhere to go. It is like a war zone. Help us,” said Mohammadreza, 36, speaking by phone from Tehran with a shaky voice as explosions rang out during what Israel described as a new wave of strikes on Iranian government targets, according to a report by Reuters
