Arsenal came from behind to defeat Chelsea 2–1 in a thrilling Premier League London derby at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
Chelsea stunned the home crowd just 77 seconds into the match when Morgan Rogers fired them ahead. Arsenal responded strongly, with Kai Havertz equalising in the 25th minute against his former club.
The Gunners completed the comeback shortly after half-time as captain Martin Ødegaard struck in the 50th minute to put Arsenal ahead for the first time.
Chelsea pushed for an equaliser late in the game, but David Raya produced a crucial save to preserve Arsenal’s advantage.
The victory maintains Arsenal’s perfect start to the 2026/27 Premier League campaign, with Mikel Arteta’s side now on nine points from three matches, level with Manchester City at the top. Chelsea remain on six points after suffering their first defeat of the season.
It also extends Arsenal’s unbeaten run against Chelsea to 12 matches in all competitions.
