Maitland-Niles Stuns Man United as Everton Snatch Late Draw

Manchester United were denied a dramatic Premier League victory after Everton fought back to secure a 2–2 draw at Hill Dickinson Stadium on Sunday.

United took the lead shortly after half-time through Bryan Mbeumo, who produced a fine solo finish. Everton responded in the 83rd minute when Tyrique George unleashed a powerful strike to level the score.

United appeared to have sealed all three points when Benjamin Šeško headed home in the 88th minute. However, Everton debutant Ainsley Maitland-Niles produced the decisive moment deep into stoppage time, curling a spectacular long-range effort into the net in the 96th minute.

The result means Manchester United have four points from their opening three league matches, while Everton move to five points and remain unbeaten at the start of the campaign.

United manager Michael Carrick was left frustrated after his side twice surrendered the lead, while Everton manager David Moyes praised his players’ resilience after a dramatic finish.
