D23 2026: Marvel Unveils X-Men Movie Cast, Adam Driver as Mister Sinister

The Marvel Studios announced the cast for its highly anticipated X-Men movie at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, confirming a May 5, 2028 theatrical release for the first standalone X-Men film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.The announcement finally puts an end to years of speculation over which actors would take on the iconic mutant characters.

The cast includes Kit Connor as Cyclops, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, Christopher Abbott as Professor X, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Maya Boyd as Storm and Sadie Sink as Jean Grey.

One of the shocking revelation of the presentation came when Adam Driver appeared in a video shown during the panel. Marvel revealed that the actor will portray a character named Nathaniel Milbury, who is believed to be the X-Men villain Mister Sinister.

However, Marvel has not identified the character as Mister Sinister in its official announcement. For now, the connection is being reported based on the character’s identity and his established history within the X-Men universe.
