Dangote Refinery Slashes Petrol Price Again

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a fresh reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly known as petrol.
The new gantry price is now N835 per litre, down from N865, reflecting a 3.5% decrease.
This latest adjustment comes in response to the recent drop in global crude oil prices, which have fallen to $64 per barrel after hovering above $70 in recent weeks.
This is the second price cut by the refinery in a short span.
Earlier, it reduced the rate from N880 to N865 per litre, though those savings were not transferred to end consumers by many oil marketers.
With a production capacity of 650,000 barrels per day, Dangote Refinery remains a key player in Nigeria’s fuel supply chain, and its pricing decisions are closely watched across the industry.
