JAMB Portal: How to Verify and Upload O’Level Results
JAMB has introduced a new system for candidates to verify and upload O’Level results from home. Here is how the new JAMB portal process works.
The JAMB portal has just introduced a new system that allows candidates to verify and upload their O’Level results from home instead of visiting a Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board announced the development, saying candidates can now have their results verified directly with the examination bodies before they are uploaded to their JAMB profiles. This new arrangement initially covers results issued by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
The latest change is expected to make the process faster and more convenient for candidates preparing for admission into Nigerian tertiary institutions.
How to Verify and Upload O’Level Result
1. Candidates begin by accessing the JAMB e-Facility platform and providing the examination information, including their examination number, series and year.
2. After verification, candidates receive a Verification Code which is used to complete the upload process.
Candidates with two sittings may be required to access the “2026 UTME O’Level Upload” section on their JAMB profile to complete the process.
The board clarified that previously uploaded O’Level results will remain valid, meaning those candidates do not need to repeat the process because the new verification system has been introduced. The development should particularly help candidates who have struggled to find available CBT centres or have had to deal with long queues during periods of heavy demand.
