
Veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has died at the age of 66, causing shock and mourning across Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
The actor’s death was announced on Sunday, August 23, 2026, with his daughter, Kira Taiwo, during an Instagram Live session.
His death came only few days after Ogogo’s family revealed that the veteran actor was battling stage-four cancer and appealed for urgent medical advice and assistance.
