Pakistan’s PM Willing to Host Peace Talks Between U.S. and Iran

On Tuesday, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said he was ready to host talks between the U.S. and Iran in a bid to end the war in the Gulf.

This came a day after President Donald Trump postponed threats to bomb Iranian power plants, saying there had been “productive” talks.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister said: “Subject to concurrence by the U.S. and Iran, Pakistan stands ready and is honoured to host and facilitate meaningful and conclusive talks for a comprehensive settlement.”
