Qatar Denounces Israeli Attack on Doha, Pledges Retaliation

Qatar has strongly criticized an Israeli strike on its capital, Doha, labeling it a breach of its sovereignty and international law.
The nation is collaborating with the United States to ensure such an incident does not recur.
On Wednesday, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Majed Al Ansari accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of showing “absolutely no respect for his partners and allies,” emphasizing that peace mediators are being unfairly targeted rather than safeguarded.
He stressed the attack would not deter Qatar’s efforts to broker a peace deal.
Al Ansari noted that the U.S. informed Doha only after the bombing, but said President Donald Trump later assured Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani that such incidents would not happen again.
The Emir warned the strike would not go unanswered and pledged to pursue all legal and diplomatic avenues in response.
Qatar, a key non-NATO U.S. ally, hosts the largest American military base in the Middle East.
