Three Dead, Several Injured as Russian Strikes Hit Kharkiv Region

Local authorities in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region say two late-night Russian missile strikes on the city of Balakliya have left at least three people dead and ten others wounded.

According to regional governor Oleg Syniehubov, the casualties include a 14-year-old girl, a 12-year-old child, and a 61-year-old man. 

Emergency teams are still assessing the damage as rescue operations continue in the affected area.

“Unfortunately, calls about possible injuries continue to come in,” said Balakliya’s military administration chief, Vitali Karabanov.
