Trump Criticises NATO Allies Over Refusal to Back Iran Conflict

U.S. President Donald Trump has sharply criticized NATO member states for failing to support the ongoing U.S.-Israel military campaign against Iran, accusing them of lacking courage and commitment.
In a strongly worded statement, Trump expressed frustration that longtime allies have not joined efforts related to the conflict, particularly in securing key global oil routes affected by the war.
He argued that while these nations benefit from U.S. leadership, they have been unwilling to contribute when needed most.
The remarks further highlight growing tensions between Washington and its European partners, many of whom have called for de-escalation rather than direct military involvement in the crisis.
“Without the U.S.A., NATO IS A PAPER TIGER!” Trump said in a social media post.
“Now that fight is Militarily WON, with very little danger for them, they complain about the high oil prices they are forced to pay, but don’t want to help open the Strait of Hormuz, a simple military maneuver that is the single reason for the high oil prices. So easy for them to do, with so little risk,” he wrote.
