Davita Lamai, partner of Nigerian rapper Zlatan Ibile, has revealed that the singer sent someone to collect her phone number because he was too shy to approach her directly when they first met.

Davita shared the revelation in a wedding video featuring the couple as they reflected on their relationship ahead of their wedding celebration scheduled for October 24, 2026.

According to The Sun Nigeria, Davita explained that Zlatan relied on another person to obtain her contact, describing the rapper as extremely shy despite his energetic public personality.

“He’s very shy, like very, very. People will not believe it,” she said.
