Starmer Accuses Elon Musk of Fueling Division in Britain

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has accused billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk of interfering in the UK’s political affairs after a series of controversial posts on X concerning the murder of 18-year-old Henry Nowak.
The case has sparked widespread outrage across Britain following the release of police footage showing officers handcuffing Nowak as he lay fatally wounded after a stabbing attack.
The incident triggered protests and renewed debate over policing, race relations, and public trust in law enforcement.
Speaking on Thursday, Starmer said Musk was attempting to “whip up division” and warned against exploiting a family’s tragedy for political purposes.
“Musk again has been interfering in our politics in the last few days, trying to whip up division. That is not who we are in Britain,” Starmer told reporters.
Musk has repeatedly commented on the case through his social media platform, alleging bias within British policing and questioning how authorities handled the incident.
