With Nigeria’s 2027 general elections approaching, registered voters can check their Permanent Voter Card (PVC) status online before visiting a collection centre. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) provides an official portal where voters can confirm their registration details and find out where to collect their cards. Steps to Check Your PVC Status Online

Step 1: Visit the official INEC portal

Go to the INEC Continuous Voter Registration portal. Make sure you are using the official website to protect your personal information.

Step 2: Select “Find My PVC”

On the portal, indicate that you are already a registered voter and select the “Find My PVC” option. Follow the instructions displayed on the screen to proceed.

Step 3: Check your PVC status and collection centre

Complete the requested steps to check your card’s status and identify the designated collection location. If your card is ready, take note of the collection instructions before travelling to the centre.

Step 4: Contact INEC if you cannot find your details

If your PVC status is unavailable, your information appears incorrect, or you cannot identify your collection centre, contact INEC through its official channels or visit the relevant INEC office for assistance.

INEC’s PVC collection exercise moved from designated ward centres to Local Government Area (LGA) offices from October 16, 2026.
