Adeleke Endorses Tinubu, Keyamo Says “Agreement Is Agreement”

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has congratulated Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on his re-election and thanked him for publicly endorsing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in 2027.

Adeleke, who secured another term in office following Saturday’s Osun governorship election, reaffirmed his support for Tinubu while delivering his victory speech. 

He also commended the President for what he described as his role in ensuring a free and fair electoral process in the state. 

Reacting to the endorsement, Keyamo took to X on Sunday to congratulate Adeleke and wrote: “Thank you, Governor Ademola Adeleke, for the public and unequivocal endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the 2027 Presidential Election.” He added: “You are a man of integrity and honour. ‘Agreement is agreement.’”

Adeleke polled 511,067 votes to defeat his closest rival, APC candidate Bola Oyebamiji, who secured 444,815 votes. Adeleke won in 19 of the state’s 30 local government areas, while Oyebamiji won 11.
