Iran Warns Gulf States of Retaliation if U.S. Launches New Strikes

Iran has warned Gulf countries that any fresh military action by the United States on its territory could trigger retaliatory attacks targeting critical energy infrastructure across the region, according to multiple reports by Reuters.

The warning, delivered through diplomatic channels, is seen as an attempt by Tehran to deter further escalation by raising the potential cost for Washington and its regional allies. 

Sources cited by Reuters say Iran is signaling that oil facilities, pipelines, and other key energy assets could become targets if tensions intensify.

The development comes amid heightened strain in the Middle East, with concerns growing over the risk of a broader conflict that could disrupt global energy markets. 

Gulf states, many of which host U.S. military assets, have not publicly responded to the reported warning.

U.S. officials have also not issued an immediate comment, but Washington has previously emphasized its commitment to protecting its allies and maintaining stability in the region.
