The top 10 all-time world cup top scorer has a new leader, Lionel Messi, with 21 goals scored across six world cup edition from his debut in 2006 to 2026. Here is the full top 10 and how each legend built their tally.

1. Lionel Messi (Argentina) – 21 goals
