US superstar and artist, Cardi B has broken her silence after weeks of speculation linking her romantically to Super Eagles and Business goalkeeper Maduka Okoye. The rapper addressed the rumors in an Instagram Story video on July 20, days after she and Okoye were photographed having a time out together in Venice.
Rather than clarifying the relationship, Cardi B instead complained about the intensity of public scrutiny surrounding her personal life. “I’m really hip hop’s Britney Spears,” she said, arguing she knows about many other celebrities’ relationships that have never been reported the way hers do.
The speculations started after the pair’s earlier appearance together at the Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture Show during Paris Fashion Week. Adding a complicated layer to the story, Okoye’s former partner, Dutch model Jelicia Westhoff, has since accused him of infidelity and absent fatherhood in a various Instagram posts.
Meanwhile, the super eagle goalkeeper has yet to publicly responded to Westhoff’s allegations or addressed the Cardi B rumors himself. With neither party confirming a relationship, the internet’s detective continue to work overtime, waiting to notice a real connection.
