P-Square’s Peter Okoye Alleges Family Pressured Lola to Abort Baby
Peter Okoye, also know as Mr P has alleged that his family pressured his wife, Lola Omotayo, to abort their unborn child, breaking down in tears while recounting the experience. The claim was shared in the latest instalment of a video series he’s been posting on Instagram, revisiting the long-running family dispute.
According to Peter, he chose to publicly announce Lola’s pregnancy himself at a Soundcity Awards event because he didn’t want the news to break from someone else. In an earlier episode of the same series, he alleged that his mother and brothers, held a family meeting where neither he nor Lola were offered a seat, and that his mother told Lola directly that the family had decided she should “leave our son alone.”
Peter also claimed his mother later privately acknowledged his son was his biological child and asked his brothers to apologize, though he says that apology never came before her passing. He pushed back on claims that Lola disliked his late mother, alleging instead that Lola personally cared for her during her illness, including staying with her in the hospital until midnight for over two months.
These accounts remain Peter Okoye’s personal allegations as part of an ongoing tell-all series, and other family members named in his claims have yet to issued detailed public responses. His brother Paul, known as Rudeboy, has reacted to some of the recent episodes, though the wider family dispute continues to play out publicly online.
