UAE Disrupts Iran-Linked Plot to Subvert National Security

The United Arab Emirates’ State Security Department announced on Monday the arrest of members belonging to an Iranian-linked cell accused of orchestrating plots to “harm the unity and peace” of the nation.
The announcement, delivered via an official statement and broadcast across state media channels, detailed a high-stakes intelligence operation that dismantled a network allegedly operating under foreign direction.
Authorities stated the group was engaged in activities designed to destabilize the social fabric of the UAE and incite internal division.
The UAE Attorney General, Hamad Saif Al Shamsi, issued a stern warning following the arrests, emphasizing that the state will take all necessary legal measures to protect its sovereignty.
”The security of our citizens and residents is a red line,” Al Shamsi stated. “We will act with the full force of the law against any organized effort to import foreign agendas or threaten the stability that defines our nation.”
